NSCC is very proud to announce our Womens' Coordinator - Briony (Socks) Mattocks - won a bronze medal at the weekend in the National Marathon MTB champs in Tasmania.

All the club knows Briony mixes it with the gun riders on Dawnie and FOT and gives the boys a real run for their money. So little wonder that all her hard work has paid off with a fabulous bronze medal at the Nationals. I asked Briony to do a race report in her own words - over to you Briony......

A Reminder About Bunch Rides

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

To all members. The article, reproduced below, is a timely reminder of the joys and etiquette of bunch rides. As the article says, a bunch ride is exactly that - a bunch ride - not a surgefest, or dangerfest like overtaking over double lines on a descent.

Please read this and remember why you first started doing bunch rides, it's about fun and friendship - also if you want to race, then race - Beauie is the perfect venue to test your strength and speed, not a club bunch ride.
