Beauie Worlds Sunday 17th September
Oil your chains, tighten your cleats, shave your legs - yes it's Beauie this Sunday in this amazing spring weather.
Will we see the newly crowned king of West Head Wall - Mark Templeton - at Beauie this week to show that his awesome form can also work on the fast beauie crit course? Will we see Jack Renshaw try to outdo the ugly pain face he perfected last week?
We are expecting a large field given the weather and the break in NRS racing, so get there early.
Sunday 20th August - Beauie Worlds
The monthly Beauie race is on this Sunday - Sydney's best criterium race circuit is sure to have melting tarmac as the region's hottest riders scorch the course in this beautiful weather we're having.
Battle of the Bridge Round 3 - Michael Potter puts on a Clinic as Norths dominate again!
Another cool but clear morning greeted riders for the 3rd round of BOTB at West Head. At sign on, Alexis was talking about having "bad legs" due to some event on Friday and so wouldn't be starting today. The rumour mill is in overdrive that The Donald has personally requested Alexis be appointed to the role of Press Secretary after reading last week's MWCC Fake News post race report that was published last week. Apparently Trump has been impressed with Alexis ability to overlook facts time and time again and likened the Manly Secretary to "Comical Ali".
Battle of the Bridge Round 2 – The Red and White Walkers Dominate
Winter had well and truly arrived this morning for Round 2 of Battle of the Bridge. The industrial wasteland of Beaumont Road was the venue for the 2nd round and for those unfamiliar, tight hairpin corners awaited them. A fantastic turnout for this morning’s race, with the coffee van pumping out plenty of brews for riders and spectators alike. SuVelo and NSCC brought strong teams to the Crit race of the North, while Manly for all their posturing during the week, had a decidedly weaker team.
Battle of the Bridge Round 2 - Race Preview
After the first round at Heffron Park with Manly claiming all the spoils* (SuVelo were the real winners) we move North of the Bridge to Beauemont Road for the NSCC Round of Battle of the Bridge. Beauie is a tough little circuit and if you can’t go around a corner, you can find yourself dropped off the back off the group and having to drop a Griepelesque 1500w effort to get back on. Just ask Chris Miller.
Battle of the Bridge Round One - Moral Victory to NSCC
Yesterday the mighty NSCC warriors travelled into enemy territory to defend our dominance of the Sydney inter-club race series - the Battle of the Bridge Round 1 at Heffron.
A massive bunch rolled down the Pacific Highway en route to Heffron - it was an amazing sight. Our hosts at Heffron RBCC put on a very well-organised race considering it was a sellout in all grades. They even organised a free sausage sizzle (sorry Tai - no vegan snags) and beers which was very hospitable.

Beauie Worlds 21 May - Race Report and Results
Finally the weather gods were kind and Beauie kicked off under sunny autumn skies. The birds were chirping, the leaves turning.....but I digress.
Big fields across all grades made for some hot racing. And great to see so many juniors punching it out in D grade.
