Club Pink Ride - Saturday 17 October
Michael Whittingham, Neil Matthews and Geoff Goh are once again raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, kicking off riding 700k in 7 days on October 16.
In support of these guys, the club encourages riders to join the club flagship rides on Saturday 17 October wearing pink, and or with bikes decorated in pink and of course to donate to the cause.
Michael's note about this fundraising effort as follows:
Thank you to you all for your past support of the Cherrybrook Pink Ribbon Breakfast. In the 21 years since the NBCF began, research has helped to significantly increase the survival rates for breast cancer. But there's still much to do. One in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Research is the only way to reduce this number and eventually find a cure for this disease.
Supported by our fantastic community, our small but enthusiastic Cherrybrook Pink Ribbon Breakfast team has raised over $160,000 since 2008. Last year we educated and entertained over 100 guests and raised over $35,000 with an auction, raffles, donations and cycling sponsorship.
This year’s breakfast is on Saturday October 24, and it’s time to start fundraising.
Corporate and individual donations are extremely important if we are to reach our fundraising goal of $35,000 this year.
I will again proudly promote this cause through colouring my hair Shocking Pink and cycling 700 kilometres in 7 days. The riding challenge will begin October 16 and finish on the 23rd just ahead of the breakfast.
Please give generously by donating through the link below. (Make a reference to “Mr Pink” in your message of support so we know who to thank)

As always, your support of our fundraising is highly appreciated.
