Warm temperatures and blue skies greeted a large crowd at Beauie Worlds long weekend racing. Around 80 riders signed on for 4 graded scratch races, and it was especially pleasing to see such a strong A-grade.

Good representation across many metro clubs including Manly-Warringah, Dulwich Hill, Central Coals, BiciSport, Lidcombe-Auburn, Parramatta and Peleton. NSCC thanks all those riders who made the trek to Beauie ... it certainly adds to the racing and atmosphere.

All grades reported having strong competitive races, and thankfully no incidents meant that our friends from St. Johns Ambulance "had nothing to do"!

A big thank you to Gary Keating as Commissar and to the traffic controllers who kept the race safe.

Our winners today were:

1st - Mick Curran CCCC
2nd - Justin Morris NSCC
3rd - Tom Bolton DHBC

1st - Chris Taylor MWCC
2nd - Geoff Goh NSCC
3rd - Conor Tarlington Bici Sport

1st - Daniel Newman NSCC
2nd - Bob Santone NSCC
3rd - Jeremy Betts NSCC

1st - Sam Welch NSCC
2nd - Simon Bolton
3rd - Fergus Mackie NSCC

Our next Beauie race is on Sunday 19th October.

Lynne Clarke from MWCC was smashing B-grade today and set a new Strava lap record!
Great to see some strong ladies making waves at beauie Worlds. We hope to see some more ladies making their way up to Sydney's Premier Crit Race!
