All guns will be blazing the weekend of the 21-22 June when Northern Sydney Cycling Club fires into Gunnedah.

Race entry is via the Cycling NSW website, and entry closes on this coming Monday 9th June.

There are two races held over the weekend and we will base ourselves in Gunnedah. On the Saturday is the 110km Coonabarabran-Gunnedah handicap, then on the Sunday, the 107km Gunnedah-Tamworth graded scratch race. Matt Garnon and Harro have described this weekend of racing as “very rewarding and well worth the effort”.

Following on from a successful weekend in Cootamundra where Lee Robson and Richard Spinks finished 2nd and 5th respectively, NSCC is again planning to organize another Travel and Accommodation package to get you to Gunnedah.

We need to ensure we have good numbers given the overall costs and the final planning will happen once we know who has signed up for the race.

The package includes 2 nights accommodation, transfer from Sydney to Gunnedah and back. We will also transfer you on Saturday to Coonabarabran for the start of the first race.

The travel and accommodation tickets can be purchased at the webshop shortly.

The Gunnedah NSCC bus will need to leave from Hornsby on Friday afternoon (by 3pm) to get us to Gunnedah Friday evening. At the end of the racing on Sunday, we will leave Tamworth and should get back to Sydney before 6 pm.

NSCC has always been well represented at Gunnedah and this year we hope will be no exception!

All cycling guns will be aiming for Gunnedah the 3rd weekend of June. Why not you?
