Barry Kenyon and Neil Matthews have been cutting a trail to Dunc Gray velodrome to participate in the Bankstown Cycling Club 13-race track summer series. Both Barry and Neil were in C-grade and competition across all 6 grades was a high standard.

Barry finished overall top of C-grade with a large number of points, with Neil finishing sixth overall. Barry has already been advised that he is in B-grade next year.

Neil recently took the bronze medal in the 2000 metre individual pursuit (Masters 6) at the NSW State track championships and is off to Melbourne on Monday 10 March to compete in the Nationals.

While track riding is very successfully represented by NSCC juniors, we are yet to see this flow through to the elite and masters ranks of our club. But plans are being made to run a come and try day at Dunc Gray for NSCC riders ... most likely later in 2014.
