It's that time again, the Weekly round-up, one day later than normal but it's here.

Weekend Racing

Once again Central Coast have their Saturday afternoon racing on up at Calga, details are on their website: http://www.centralcoastcyclingclub.com.au/node/66

However the basic details are, sign on from 1.30pm, racing starts at 2pm, $12 entry and you need a Gold Licence.

On Sunday there is once again racing for the Masters down at Lansdowne Park, details on their website: http://www.waratahmasters.com.au/eventsmenu.cfm

Weekend Rides

The usual rides are on, with El Pres, Le Reve etc on Saturday, on Sunday I am currently thinking a trip to Warriewood however that isnt a definite as of yet.

So get out and show off the Red and White.

Other News

Simon Davies has sent me his post from his time in the Tour of Tahiti, I will be looking to post this tomorrow for you all to have a good read before the weekend. Without revealing to much, it gives a good insight into the life of a nearly come Pro Rider!

With the Open Season now in full swing, I will be putting up a post next week about the Open Race in Mudgee on the weekend of 4th/5th August. This is easily one of the better away weekends with the wineries to take away any pain of doing an impression of former El Presidente - Sam Moorhouse (Getting dropped in the first 5km...on both days)

Mudgee is a great warm up for Kurrajong which is a week later, with Coota at the end of the month and then the two big ones, Goulburn to Citi and Grafton to Inverall. I will be organising some longer training rides in the run up to the two bigger races for those that want to get the K's in, including a recon of the Goulburn route.

Hope you all have a great weekend.
