A decent amount of news relating to the club this week from Junior and Masters Racing results as well upcoming racing for this weekend again.

Strong performance from NSCC Juniors

Congratulations to our NSCC Juniors that have been performing well in the recent Junior Tours across NSW, most recently in Tamworth and Goulburn. There were some great results to note from both races with Jacob Jones taking 2nd Place on Stage 1 and finishing 5th on GC at Tamworth and Michael Potter leading the KOM by the end of 1st day and placing 6th overall as well. (I am waiting on final KOM results from CNSW) In addition Ashlee Jones placed 1st in her age group on GC and Laura Jones 3rd overall as well, so a really strong performance at Tamworth from our Juniors there.

At Goulburn, again our Junior put in a strong performance, with Jacob taking 1st on Stage 4 and 10th overall and Michael Potter finishing 5th on the GC.

This is a testament to the hard work these guys are putting in and the coaching from Helmut as well, so well done guys, great results and it's fantastic to see you doing well and flying the NSCC Colors.

Richard Spinks takes at Top 10 at Cervello Masters

Well done to Richard Spinks for finishing 7th at the Cerveloo Masters racing at D Grade on the weekend, a great result on a tough circuit with some strong riders.

The next round is at Kooragang Island on 27th July with entries closing on 14th, so get involved if your a old git and want to race!

CNSW Wagga Open

The handicaps have been released for this weekend CNSW racing down at Wagga this weekend, unfortunately not a huge amount of NSCC Riders heading down for this one, with only James Swadling making the trip South. James has been handicapped in Chopping Block with some solid riders, however has been showing some good form with some good results at the recent Coota opens. Good luck for both the Road Race and Criterium over the weekend

Weekend Racing Options

Once again a few options this weekend, with of the course the most important being Beauie Worlds on Sunday. I am not 100% certain but as Central Coast have the Central Division Champs at Calga on Saturday I dont know if non central division riders can enter, perhaps someone can clarify?

Anyway, Beauie World, 7.45am sign on for a 8.10am start, I know Manly are coming to finish of their club champs this weekend and will no doubt be looking to take all our money as well, so get up to Beauie and put it on the line for the club.

Also there is Masters Racing at Lansdowne Park on Sunday, however I would strongly encourage you to come to Beauie Worlds instead. Details on the website: http://www.waratahmasters.com.au/eventsmenu.cfm

Upcoming Post
And finally, Simon "Geezer" Davies is putting together a post about his time racing in the Tour of Tahiti. If anyone knows Simon you will know he is a absolute driver and he had a storming ride over the course of the tour, however I will leave the story telling to him for next week.

Again all the usual rides are on over the weekend weather depending and I hope to see you all up at Beauie on Sunday to tear some Manly Legs off and your fellow club mates! See you there.
